Far Eastern University (FEU) is not increasing its tuition for School Year 2025-2026.
The update was shared last Jan. 15, during a meeting led by the Office of Academic Services and the Student Development Office with representatives from the FEU Central Student Organization, institute councils, and FEU Advocate, the official student publication.
While tuition remains unchanged, FEU is introducing new services to benefit students, including ethics review, a Joint Memorandum Order No. 2022-001 policy directive, and certification programs designed to enhance employability.
Following Commission on Higher Education guidelines, no consultation is required since there is no tuition increase, but the university chose to meet with student leaders to share this update and seek their input as part of its commitment to open communication and transparency. In addition, the institutes have met with their students to gather feedback and to identify opportunities for enhancing their services.
During the discussions, institutes addressed academic concerns and upcoming improvements. Institutes also outlined plans for facility and equipment upgrades to enhance learning spaces and student support services.
“We recognize the importance of working together to ensure that students have access to services that support their academic journey and future goals,” said VP for Academic Services Raquel Baquiran. “Through discussions like these, we can continue to address concerns and identify ways to provide meaningful support.”
