Far Eastern University (FEU) and the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), formalizing a partnership aimed at advancing human resource education and training.
As part of this collaboration, FEU Academy launched its Diploma in Human Resource Management, a comprehensive program requiring participants to complete five specialized certificates: Organization Development: Feb. 3 - March 23; Labor Relations: Apr. 6 - May 25: Compensation Management: June 1 - July 20; Human Resource Planning and Acquisition: Aug. 3 – Sept. 21; Human Resource Development: Sept. 28 – Nov. 23.
The partnership is headed by FEU Academy’s Dr. Melinda Torres together with Vice President Carlos Fedelino Valencia of the Human Resource Department.
The academy has announced plans to offer this program next year to accommodate a growing demand.
Highlighting their shared commitment to professional development, Torres and Valencia attended the 61st Annual PMAP Conference from Oct. 16 to 18 at the Iloilo Convention Center. The event, themed “RehumAInize,” gathered leaders and experts for a series of in-depth sessions examining the evolving relationship between technology and human resource management.
