Far Eastern University (FEU) Academy, in collaboration with the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP), officially launched the Certificate in Organization Development (COD) at the Mini Theater, FEU Makati. The program, a key component of the Diploma in Human Resource Management, is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to drive meaningful organizational change.
The COD program offers an in-depth exploration of organization development concepts, models, and best practices. Through a blended learning approach—combining face-to-face and online sessions—participants gain hands-on experience in implementing change strategies, evaluating interventions, and fostering workplace transformation.

The launch brought together speakers who emphasized the importance of continuous learning in human resource management. Associate Dean Earl Joseph Borgoña delivered the welcoming remarks, setting the tone for the session. Richard Mamuyac provided an overview of the Diploma in Human Resource Management, while Mary Joanna Abad introduced the program participants. Lead trainer Maribel Umali outlined the structure and objectives of the COD, reinforcing its role in enhancing HR professionals' expertise. John Carlo Furigay presented available online library resources, and Executive Director Melinda D. Torres shared insights about FEU Academy’s commitment to lifelong learning. The event concluded with a short speech by Vice President for Human Resource Carlos Fedelino Valencia, who underscored the program’s impact on professional growth.
The COD is one of five specialized certifications under the Diploma in Human Resource Management. Next in the series is the Certificate in Labor Relations, led by Atty. Alvin Manuel, Assistant Vice President-Human Resource at Century Pacific Food, Inc.
For professionals looking to advance their HR expertise, the COD program provides a practical and strategic foundation to navigate the complexities of organizational change.
