Alumni Office goes regional

The FEU Alumni Relations Office, in partnership with the FEU Alumni Association, organized its first Regional Alumni Gathering at CALABARZON last October. Several alumni from Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon attended the event, which was held at Edustria High School, a subsidiary school of FEU in Batangas.

Vice President for Corporate Affairs Rowena Capulong-Reyes gave her welcome remarks, expressing her excitement for the many opportunities that await the alumni through the concerted efforts of the FEU Alumni Relations and the FEU Alumni Foundation. She also gave a glimpse into the new vision-mission statement of FEU, underlining the university’s commitment to providing inclusive, learner-centered education that produces highly employable and globally competitive graduates.

Dr. Rosalind Wee, board member of the FEU Alumni Association, gave an inspirational talk to the participants by sharing her success story. For their part, Edustria students entertained the audience with a dance number, while an FEU Chorale soloist serenaded the participants with a rendition of some Pilipino songs.

This was organized to bring the activities closer to the alumni. During the event, the participants were given the opportunity to catch up with their fellow alumni from the same region as well as to establish networks or connections.

The next regional assembly is scheduled on March 29 at Good Samaritan Colleges in Cabanatuan City. More details are to be posted on ARO’s Facebook page.
